Fantastic Day at the East Midlands Area Competition Training Session
A superb day of high‑level judo took place at the East Midlands Area Competition Training Session, expertly led by Area Coach Dave Baldwin (4th Dan) and supported by Conner Gossedge (2nd Dan). Hosted by Shudan Judo Club, the session pushed every participant to their limits in the best possible way.
Across four demanding hours, players worked through:

  • Competition-focused techniques
  • Stamina and conditioning drills
  • Intense, high‑quality randori
    It was a tough, uncompromising session designed to build resilience, sharpen competitive edge, and raise standards across the area. Well done to every judoka who dug deep and completed the full four hours—a fantastic display of commitment, spirit, and determination.
