If clubs want any addition people trained this can be offered but there will be a charge of £45 per person (Limited space available).
This first aid course will give you a regulated qualification, i.e., an Emergency First at Work with Judo Specific conditions bolted on. This is a course that’s been developed specifically for the Judo Associations and covers all the topics required to meet the requirements of Ofqual and HSE for workplace First Aid and has bolted on the end, spinal injuries, head injuries, fractures, dislocations, strains, and sprains etc.
An Ofqual approved certificate is issued to successful candidates on completion, which may be used for workplace First Aid purposes and a certificate of attendance is also issued for the judo specific components. This course takes approx. 7.5 hours. The regulated part of the course covers the following topics: Legislation, Responsibilities, Action in an Emergency, Primary Survey, Secondary Assessment, Respiratory System and Choking, Resuscitation and Defibrillation, Shock, Wounds and Bleeding, Epilepsy, Burns and Scalds. All candidates would receive a comprehensive manual and all successful candidates would receive two certificates.
Can ALL CLUB please ensure they send the names of those who will be attending to Tony Jones by no later than 31st August 2021. – If you haven’t been registered you will not be able to do the course.
